After you post your summary, you can spend time looking at other features of the site. You can read another article, watch a video (if you have headphones), or take quizzes related to news on the site.

You will be taking 2 online quizzes: the first is a personality quiz, the second is an IQ test.

After you take the personality quiz, post a reply to the blog with your personality type. It will be 4 letters. In your reply, tell if you agree or disagree with the results of your quiz. Explain.

After taking the IQ test, post a reply to the blog that explains whether or not you think that an IQ test is an accurate measurement of someone’s intellectual capability.

You can include both responses (to the personality test and the IQ test) in the same comment on the blog.

Today we discussed crowd behaviors and the theories that support their actions. One item we discussed was mass hysteria, an example of which was the panic produced by the radio broadcast “War of the Worlds”. Go to the link provided below and listen to as much of the radio broadcast as you can. When there is about 10 minutes left in class, post your response to the broadcast. Explain whether or not you think the hysteria caused by this broadcast was reasonable or unreasonable.

Search the Internet for 2 examples of institutionalized segregation in the United States. Your example must be something that is recent (the last 10 years or so). Include a summary (3-4 sentences) of each example. Hints for your search; look for results that include business hiring practices, colleged acceptance procedures, and housing (residential segregration).
